Hey there, honestly I realize right now that everyone is probably just asking questions cuz school is gonna start relatively soon, like a month and a half. However, I right now am just interested in everyone else who is gonna be there this fall. Honestly I am excited to get to go somewhere new and study something (Aerospace engineering) that not a lot of other people get the chance to do.
Soooo.... Basically I am just asking what you all are looking forward to and just tell everyone about yourselves. Nothing wrong with getting to know each other a little bit before we get thrown into the rush XD

i've started packing!! just things like dishes and some of my longsleeve shirts and sweaters n stuff. my stepmom gave me some of those space bags so i sucked down my comforter and stuff, let me tell yea it was amazing how much smaller it gets!! i still have ALOT to go though but im pretty proud of myself i put alot of things in the goodwill pile and hope everything i decided to keep will fit ok in the dinky dorm!

hows everyone else's packing experience going?? Are your guy's parents getting wierd on you?? i was watching tv on the couch next to my mom and next thing i know shes hugging me telling me she loves me and is so greatful to spend time with me even if its just watching tv. it was a little wierd!!!

I have most of my stuff... I think.... Just a few more things i need to get, and books to, and other stuff....
But I'll get stuff done.... eventually..
But my mom was gone for last like... 9 days, and she said she missed me a lot, but my parents arent getting all super attached quite yet, i think they will when the days start winding down. =/
I'm just anxious now, I'm looking forward to a good year =D

my family's moving at the same time, too. Kinda sucks that I have to have EVERYTHING packed, but most of my stuff was stored in boxes anyway. I have, like, most of the stuff I need for school tucked away in my closet, I just have to finish my mountain of laundry and pack clothes and stuff.

I think I'll make a list with all the things I'll need but then again I may also forget to put things on he list,
I always feel I'm forgeting something

Oh and by the way, for all of you AERO-SCIers,
A current student made a suggestion to me about the flight training
In order to help ourselves save some time and maybe money, we can start looking over the aircraft flight/preflight checklist,
he told me that we can get a head start if we memorize the "normal" part of the checklist

Boys, boys, boys!! lol you guys better get going on packing because trust me its alot harder and alot more work then you think!! lol you slowly start to realize as you put things into boxes that maybe you have too much stuff and then you have to make the decision on what to keep and what to leave behind. I created a packing list and made it into categorys like Bathroom, Bedroom, Study, Kitchen supplys, and so on but once i went to make it i slowly started to realize how many little things i still need like silverware and plates!! lol
