I'm just curious about everyone(class of 2013) =P

Hey there, honestly I realize right now that everyone is probably just asking questions cuz school is gonna start relatively soon, like a month and a half. However, I right now am just interested in everyone else who is gonna be there this fall. Honestly I am excited to get to go somewhere new and study something (Aerospace engineering) that not a lot of other people get the chance to do.
Soooo.... Basically I am just asking what you all are looking forward to and just tell everyone about yourselves. Nothing wrong with getting to know each other a little bit before we get thrown into the rush XD

I agree, Jamba Juice is WAY better than chipotle.
I prefer Taco Del Mar and Qdoba to Chipotle, personally. Taco Del Mar is my fave because it's more Baja, which is what I totally grew up with :)

mitch, i will admit i have never even tried one of their quesadilla's. i've been there like twice in my whole life, im just not that into it! see jess knows what she's talking about! have you ever tried muchos gracias? down here thats the place to go if you want quick and good mexican food. Which while i was visiting the school i went to a mexican restaurant called "la fonda" down in prescott, and it was HORRIBLE. lol it wasnt that cheap and the food sucked! there salsa was like tomato paste with little black spec's in it thats all and it tasted like straight up tomato paste! no chunks or flavoring at all! Schools getting so close im super excited!! im driving down from Washington, i leave the 18th of august!!!!

ohhhh man, I'm getting excited too :)
I went to Hugo's Cocina when we were in Prescott...AMAZING :) I mean, not necessarily cheap food, but it was sooo good. The salsa was pretty fresh, too...the only thing was that it wasn't all that spicy.

I'm leaving the 18th of August, too, but we're dropping off my sister in Pullman first. She goes to WSU.

Sorry about the la Fonda experience. I came here from California, and I have to say that the central Arizona version of Mexican just isn't working for me. Try Hugo's downtown though--not fancy, very inexpensive, and good! And I miss Jamba Juice too!

maaan, all this talk about mexican food and starting school is making me realize how much im gonna miss REAL mexican food. And by that i mean south-of-the-border mexican food. The thing that i am definitely gonna miss the most are tacos. STREET tacos. the kind of real tacos on a street stand that no formal establishment or local can match. yes, they may be greasy and somewhat unhealthy, but daaaaamn they're good. i can never not be in the mood for tacos (except if i just ate and im full, but come on..... that doesnt count). But yeaa........ im really gonna miss them
And since i've been staying these last days in Tijuana, i've been eating them often, which makes me even sadder.

One day i'm gonna invite you all to fly to SD and if you guys want we'll go across the border to get some real mexican food. on me ;) you can have all the tacos you want

oh and by the way, i agree with mitch: chipotle over jamba

the one thing I remember from the ONE TIME I went to mexico [and living in california for 9 years, you think I would've gone more...] was the street tacos :) I was, like, 8, and they were the only thing I'd eat while I was there. I've never eaten a BAD street taco :) although, I got food poisoning from one, but I don't count that as a bad experience because the taco was still delicious.

I would so be there for that trip south of the border. Heck, it's not even that far of a DRIVE to get to SD and then over the border :)

but at least Arizona can offer decent tries at real mexican food. you just can't get good mexican in seattle. we get good Indian, Asian, and French food, but no good Mexican.

Hey everyone, and Mitch!

umm... where to start... I am from Southern California and went to Peninsula, if anyone from SoCal has heard of it. I am also going to be in aerospace engineering. I'm so excited to meet new people and go somewhere new too. I enjoy music and the outdoors and I love to snowboard and I'm hoping I can get up to Flagstaff a few times. I finally found out who my roommate is and it turns out that we both went to middle school together! haha, It's weird. I wish we found out everyone that is going to be in the room.

My vote goes to Jamba juice, chipotle is good too, but jamba is better. Actually, in-n-out beats both of them :)

true facts :) In-n-out WINS. Good thing there's one close to campus :)

I know! I'm so glad there is one near campus. I was worried I was only going to be able to get in-n-out when I go home :D

Lol, I concur, in n out is quite amazing, but i would rather have chipotle for the rest of my life =P
