I'm going to be a freshman in the fall and I noticed you posted this last year, but if you still wanted to airpool when school starts I'd love to. The airport near my house is KTOA, hopefully that's not too far out of the way.
FLYING, hockey, snowboarding, painting, ping-pong, woodworking, chess, guitar, music (my band is on my playlist ).

I would really like to do some work with burt rutan and do some commercial space flight
I want to build my own airplane and if I have the free time and cash I would like to try and a homebuilt space ship
I want to do graduate studies in physics.
It would also be pretty cool to find the T.O.E. :)
I think they have a few that arnt G1000... I mean i guess it would be fine, Ive spent a few hours with an instructor doing stuff in R model 172s so i mean whatever but still i think it would be fun to fly a lot of the instrument stuff the old school way.
yup im in the bay area.... East Bay to be specific and I fly out of Livermore (KLVK)... Im prolly going to do instrument, single com, then multi com add on... Im not in a hurry to fly multis, ya the multi time would be nice, but I think itll be good to learn Instrument on a good ol' steam gauge 172... I mean im all for glass cockpits, but I want to learn it the real way, then learn on the technology. Itll still be fun to do single com and multi comm then maybe CFI, CFII, and MEI to build multi time...
I live up in Northern California and we have a lot to do around here... At least at first. Monterey is fun if you want some Actual IMC time (my friend is instrument rated and thats a fun one) Harris Ranch is about an hour, napa is forty minutes, Columbia is a cool mining town in the Sierra foothills and its about an hour, and several other places that are just good for meals.... I also flew with a friend down to Santa Paula in Southern California and we did some flying down there... Nothing like doing 185 MPH low passes in a piper arrow at an uncontrolled airport haha...
Im jealous of the instrument rating... I have a little experience as in if I got myself into something I could prolly get out... I can shoot ILS's fairly well (most of the time) but only have about 3 hours of instrument instruction since my Private...
hey, i'm in seattle right now. i'll give yhou a call before i fly outa here on the 20th. quick question, do our dorms have like, trash cans, ironing stuff?? we should do all of that shopping stuff when we are down there. my buddy i'm with just got all of that stuff so i figured i'd ask to see if we need any of that stuff. ttyl
i got my license in February.... Been flying for about a year before that learning etc. Paid for it all myself so it took me a while to get everything done.. Ive done a bit of instrument stuff but I got my license at 52 hours and now have 100... way to many Hundred dollar hamburger trips... how about you?
Props man on the intrument rating. I'm hoping that even though I have no experience what so ever (besides being a passenger) I won't be at too much of a disadvantage. Your babysitter sounds awesome! I gotta say though, I'm more of a style head than a power moves guy myself. I hear there's dodgeball intramurals....hmm, team maybe?
