the E6B is the flight computer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have used one in Science of Flight in school and hate them, but i guess if i want to become a pilot i have to get used to them right!
Neil and Miguel,
What Andrew listed is just right. I thought I'd add some insight to the discussion though. As it happens, I started the Private Pilot training this spring semester, including ground school (AS119) and the flight training (FA119) wh…
As a current ERAU student, I can pretty much tell you what you will need.... As for brands, ASA and Jeppesen make almost identical products and they are not much different, you will need an E6B and plotter from either company, these are available at…
HAHA well luckily they are all related, and when you get on campus it will be easy to find them, they are all for flight planning. Sectionals is the pilots version of a road map, plotter is to decide what direction your flying and how far on that ch…

I hadn't thought about sharing a printer. I have a 3-in-1 color printer that I can bring but we would need to plug and unplug it to print, unless we transfer files with a USB drive. I'm using a Mac so I would have to boot up in Vista for that to work. I have texting, but I only have 200 per month sent AND received. I usually have 80 or so left over at the end of the month, so feel free to text. As for TVs, I've got a 19" CRT, but no VCR. I could go ahead and bring it since my parents are going to be driving back anyway, so if we decide not to use mine, they will just bring it back. I'll text you Thursday afternoon so we can work out a time to call.
By the way, what kind of truck do you have? (You'll quickly find out that I have an obsession over trucks.)
It appears we are roommates! I guess we should coordinate what we should each bring with us. It would be nice if we knew who was in the other rooms so we could figure out whose TV we would put in the apartment's lounge. Do you do any instant messaging, or should we work out a time that we could call each other? Here's the phone number that you can actually reach me at: 281-798-7072.
