and a few thousands from fafsa
but its still less than half of the year's expenses
i might get some loans

Not sure what you mean about a license fee. As far as I know, it is a pay as you go program, depending how well you learn, it might cost less than the projected cost or more than the projected cost.
If it is your first time you enroll in a particular flight course, you pay 1 credit hour for the first semester, any semester after that while still in the same flight course, you don't pay any credit hours.
I got all of mine licenses and ratings here at ERAU. All the flight courses are built into the curriculum so during all of your time here, you will aquire all of your licenses and ratings.
Flight is a seperate cost from tuition meaning that you do have to pay extra. This will be true for any flight school/university you look at. There is a lot of aid avialable for flight. You want to ask your admissions counselor or high school counselor about all the aid that you are eligible for.
As I told you earlier, I was able to pay tuition by grants and scholarships and I am paying for flight with loans. I will be in debt but once I get hired as a flight instructor or an airline pilot, I will be making quiet a bit to pay all those off. Loans also build credit score so that's not bad.
