Yeah, I move in on Tuesday ^_^ I'm super excited! Classes start one week from today. I've been out of town though for the last week, so I'm really stressing to get all my stuff together in time. Plus my student loan hit a snag and I had to resend them all my paper work, which they say I'm still approved, they just needed me to resend some stuff. I'm just hoping it all goes through in enough time to get my check before the bill is due at ERAU. You're starting in the fall, right?
Prescott!! Really love the place and the people!! I'm guessing you'll be at Prescott too..?! And are you on facebook? Because I really need some help! I need to figure how things work in the US because this will be my first time away from home and this is huge!! Please help=)!!Let me know and send me a request on facebook if you can!
It starts June 20-something. As for the decision to come to ERAU, it basically came down to the fact that the longer I wait, the further I'll be behind in flight. Also, my community college doesn't have anything that even resembles a physics department (so sad, I love physics...), so if I waited another year, I'd also be behind in classes. Plus, I've been waiting for an excuse to get out of my parent's house ^_^
The race was awesome by the way. I didn't expect it to be so adreniline filled, but it really does get your blood pumping when you see those planes going over 230 mph and having to fly through a space less than 6 ft. high with less than 2 ft of side clearence. Pure awesomeness. That being said, I forgot sunscreen, so I'm definitely remembering the weekend, lol.
P.S., do you have an aim? (send it to me in a message if you'd like ^_^)
Yeah, I'm going to be at ERAU for the Early Flyers program (I can't remember the exact name, but it's something like that) because I basically have zero flight experience as a pilot, and I'm transfering in as a sophmore, which would leave me a little behind the curve. Hopefully the summer program will get me up to speed. Besides, I'm a fast learner ^_^ As for the photography, I take pictures of just about anything I can. I love using my camera so much that even really insignificant things capture my attention. Lately though I've only really pulled it out for air shows and road trips. Speaking of which, I went to the Red Bull Air Race this weekend, I'll be sure to upload the photos.
Oh man, that's so unfortunate. If only we had started talking earlier we might have been able to give you a lift to the campus =P Are you going to take any summer classes at ERAU this year?
Yeah, it was pretty awesome. I really enjoyed sitting in the Airbus simulator, it was really funny watching everyone lean to the right when the pilot started turning, lol.
